The Clinical Analysis Graduate Program (PPGAC), from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), is linked to the Institute of Biological Sciences (ICB). It started its activities in 2013, being the first program to offer the Professional Master's course in this area in the North of the country.

It presents itself with the proposal to act as a cluster of technological education and applied research in the region. It aims to train professionals capable of transferring technologies and knowledge produced by research to the productive and services sector, carried out by clinical analysis laboratories. As well as seeks the training of professionals capable of laboratory diagnosis of human diseases or of veterinary interest.

For this, the Program is structured from the Area of Concentration "Diagnosis", with the Research Lines: "Infectious and Parasitic Agents", "Biochemistry and Molecular Biology", "Hematology", "Biomedical Technology"; and the “Veterinary Diagnosis” Concentration Area, with the research line “Animal Pathology and Human Zoonoses”.

Currently, the faculty counts with 25 professors, of which 18 are tenured and 7 are collaborators.
